How we protect your files and privacy.
Files uploaded for server-side conversion are deleted immediately after you download the result. For client-side tools (merge, split, rotate, image conversions), files never leave your device at all — processing happens entirely in your browser.
Most tools — including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, and image format conversions — run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. You can even use these tools offline after the page has loaded.
All connections to iConvertOnline are encrypted with HTTPS using TLS 1.2 or higher. HSTS is enforced, preventing browsers from connecting over unencrypted HTTP. No file data is ever transmitted without encryption.
Each conversion is completely independent. No file is accessible to other users, and download links are unique per conversion. We do not cross-reference or combine files from different sessions.
You can use all free tools on iConvertOnline without creating an account or sharing any personal information. We do not require your email address, name, or payment details for standard conversions.
Our infrastructure is based in the United States. Files are not retained beyond the conversion window. We do not log, read, analyse, or share the content of your files. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
